The Story of Jethro
Jethro is introduced as Moses’ father-in-law and priest of Midian. Moses tends his flock when he encounters God at the burning bush. After receiving his commission, Moses asks permission to return to Egypt.
Following Israel’s departure from Egypt, Jethro hears what God has done and comes to Moses with Zipporah and Moses’ sons.
