Psalms 61:2
“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.”
A THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The psalmist cries to God from a place of weakness and distance. The request to be led to a rock higher than himself expresses dependence on security beyond his own strength.
